On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The Thames Tideway Tunnel is the biggest privately financed infrastructure project in Europe, and when completed, will substantially reduce the millions of tons of untreated sewage that currently overflows from London’s Victorian sewers into the tidal River Thames.
As the largest project ever undertaken in the UK water industry, the 25km tunnel will be 7.2 metres in diameter and reach depths of up to 65 metres. Construction on the project started in 2016 and involves 24 work sites across London. Work on the construction has recently reached the mid-way milestone and we currently have four tunnel boring machines cutting their way under the capital city. The project will be completed and commissioned by 2024.
