Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. This one and a half day conference, organized by Prof. Giovanni Capoccia and Prof. Isabela Mares (Yale) brings together scholars from Europe and the US to analyze in comparative and historical perspective the conditions of viability of the strategies that pro-democratic forces can adopt to counter the rise of illiberalism in liberal democracies.
