Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Linked datasets from Ministry of Justice and Department for Education have made it possible to interrogate the relationship between care experience (i.e. having been in kinship care, foster care and/or children’s homes), ethnicity and youth justice involvement in England using population level data. Taking a critical perspective, Katie will draw on findings from an ADR UK Fellowship project using these datasets showcasing the potential of administrative data to challenge (in)justices.
