OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

The Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI), part of the Future of Humanity Institute at the University of Oxford, strives to help humanity capture the benefits and manage the risks of artificial intelligence. We conduct research into important and neglected issues within AI governance, drawing on Political Science, International Relations, Computer Science, Economics, Law, and Philosophy. Our research is used to advise decision-makers in private industry, civil society, and policy.
