OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

About the Public Health Humanities Series at St Cross: Public health affects and is defined by many dimensions of our being human that science and medicine cannot capture, as they raise questions about the relationship between health and our beliefs, values, histories, and identities. To be adequately addressed, they require the different angles that the humanities disciplines can provide, ideally integrating their different perspectives – to the extent that this is possible. This seminar series wants to explore the way interdisciplinary dialogue within the humanities can (or cannot) address those types of questions. For each seminar, there will be a talk and a commentary by two scholars from different humanities disciplines.
