Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The former President of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, will be in conversation with Professor Sabina Alkire, Director of the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative. The Blavatnik School’s Dean, Professor Ngaire Woods, will moderate the discussion, which will be followed by a Q&A.
Former President Santos is a Visiting Professor of the Oxford Department of International Development. This event will be held in collaboration with the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative, an economic research and policy centre within the Oxford Department of International Development.
