A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. This event will explore alternative protein sources and investigate the promises and challenges of lab-grown and plant/fungi-based meat as sustainable alternatives to real meat. The discussion will include the sustainability of these alternative meats in terms of energetic demands, greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and land use.
